It’s happened to me before: Justice Alito worries about improperly removing jurors with ‘traditional religious beliefs’. I was once excluded from a jury pool based solely on the existence of a Jesus fish on my truck and my promise to treat an accused child molester fairly. I met up with the prosecutor after the day was over, and he told me that basically, the defense counsel used one of their dismissal votes (I forget the legal term) against me, probably because he didn’t believe I could be fair against a child molester, given that I was Christian.
